 BISHOP & CO-PASTOR BIO

 Bishop Restine Jackson

Bishop Restine T. Jackson III is the Senior Pastor of Word of Grace Worship Center, which is located at 12353 Washington Square, Waldorf, Maryland 20601. Bishop Jackson founded this ministry under the name, Greater Grace Temple in October 1987 and God blessed the church to purchase its first church building in June of 1989. Since that time, many ministries have been formed which have contributed to the overall success of the ministry and the church continues to grow as more souls are added to the Kingdom.

Pastor Jackson, who was saved in July 1975, received his call to the Ministry in January of 1977. While attending Greater Grace Temple in Detroit, Michigan, he received ministerial training under Bishop David L. Ellis and Bishop Ross P. Paddock, as well as at Detroit Bible College and at Christ Temple Apostolic Church under its Pastor, Bishop Willard Saunders, Sr. Pastor Jackson was ordained in July 1987 by the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. He is also a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors and has served as the President of the Pastor's Congress of the DC, Delaware & MD District Council. In addition, he has served as a District Elder and held the office of Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee, Chairman of the Auditing Committee and Assistant Treasurer of the DC, Delaware and Maryland District Council. After moving with his family to the state of Maryland, Elder Jackson and his family became members of ChristTempleApostolicChurch under the pastorate of Bishop Willard Saunders. It was from this ministry that Bishop Jackson stepped out to begin his pastoral ministry in Capitol, Heights, Maryland.

Bishop Jackson has been married to his lovely wife, Ida, since May 1971. Lady Ida Jackson has worked faithfully in assisting her husband in ministry. Her tireless efforts have been of great benefit to Bishop Jackson. They have two children, Restine IV and Whitney. Their son, Restine Jackson IV, is a gifted musician, song writer, producer and studio engineer. He has just completed his 4th Gospel CD, "Restine Jackson - Live at Living Waters,."  He along with his father Bishop Jackson founded Wondrous World Records and Entertainment, a Gospel Music Record Label in 1998. Their daughter, Whitney Sharron Jackson, is an anointed Psalmist, Choir Director and Praise and Worship Leader who loves to sing and minister to God's people. Whitney is a born leader who loves people and who is following in the footsteps of her father. She is an integral part of the ministry and serves as Church Administrator, Minister of Music and Director of the Praise & Worship Ministry. Whitney is currently in the studio recording her first ghospel album.

Bishop Restine T. Jackson III is a gifted teacher and preacher who has taught many seminars across the country. In 1996, Pastor Jackson felt the call of God to begin teaching noonday bible study classes at The Department of Housing and Urban Development. He trains Deacons for various churches around the country and has taught Men's Ministries, Praise & Worship Seminars and music seminars. He has served the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World as the leader of the Praise and Worship Ministry at its National Convention. Since one of his many interests is the subject of True Worship, he also teaches seminars on the subject, "Worship as a Spiritual Entrance into the Presence of God."   Bishop Jackson is currently traveling the country teaching on the Father/Son principle, as taught by the Presiding Prelate of New Destiny Fellowship International, Bishop Thomas W. Weeks, Sr.

In the April of 2002, God chose Pastor Jackson to be elevated to the office of Bishop under the auspices of Bishop Thomas Wesley Weeks, Sr. and New Destiny Fellowship International. May of 2010, Apostle Weeks appointed Bishop Jackson to serve as the Regional Bishop for the DC, Maryland and Virginia Region of New Destiny Fellowship International. God sent Pastors to Bishop Jackson as Spiritual Sons that he would support and encourage as a ministry Father. Their names are; Pastor Simon Morgan Korveh, Pastor of Word of Grace Worship Center International in Accra, Ghana; Bishop Craig A. Booker, Senior Pastor of Christ Apostolic Deliverance Temple in Clinton, MD; Elder Carl Pinckney, Pastor of New Hope Christian Church in Gaithersburg, MD; Elder Leon Thomas, Pastor of The Anointed Christian Center in California; Pastor Helen Woods, Pastor of Mount of Olives Church in Gaithersburg, MD; Pastor Don Mumford, Annapolis, MD; Pastor Booker Terry, Pastor of There's Hope Christian Church; and Pastor Ruth Hart, Pastor of Impact Christian Ministries in Forestville, MD. They are working together with Bishop Jackson to carry the message of New Destiny Fellowship International to churches in every corner of the world. As the Chairman of the Board of International Missions, Bishop Restine T. Jackson III is working with the Pastors of New Destiny to build a Missions Department that will support ministries throughout the entire world. Bishop Jackson accompanied Apostle Thomas W. Weeks on a Missions visit to Ghana and Togo in West Africa in November, 2002. A great contingent of saints traveled to Africa for the first New Destiny Fellowship Conference - Ghana

In May 2002, Bishop Jackson debuted his first book, entitled "The 16 Fundamental Principles of Sonship," at the Praise Power Celebration in Philadelphia, PA to rave reviews. The Sonship message is being received in a dynamic way all over this country. Bishop Jackson promotes his book through book signings, interviews and speaking engagements. He continues to carry the message of Sons walking in perfect relationship with their Fathers all over the world.

God is continuing to pour out a great anointing upon his church and we are seeing God do great and wonderful things. Our Heavenly Father continues to confirm His Word with signs and wonders. We are constantly receiving testimonies of God providing unexpected income through an increased anointing, as well as testimonies of debt cancellation and supernatural provision. Today, we look forward to the next move of God and anticipate the glorious outpouring of His Spirit on lost souls. We know that God has even greater things in store for us under the leadership of our Pastor, Bishop Restine T. Jackson III. We, the Word Of Grace Worship Center Family, thank God for our Pastor and Bishop, Restine T. Jackson III and his wife, Lady Ida Jackson.

                                                         First Lady Ida Jackson

First Lady Ida Jackson was born in Detroit, Michigan to Deacon and Mrs. Leovey Kaufman. Her formal education was received in the Detroit School System. First Lady Jackson's desire for academic excellence led her to continue her education at Wayne State University, where she received her B.S. and M.A. degrees in education.

First Lady Jackson is currently a certified reading specialist in Prince Georges County Schools where she has taught since 1983. She taught in the state of Michigan for twelve and one half years. From 1981 to 1983 she served on the Board of Directors of the Greater Grace Temple Christian Academy in Detroit. First Lady Ida Jackson serves as one of the Mentoring Teacher coordinators in her school, and currently mentors a child from Bowie, MD.

In 1975, Sister Jackson heard the One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism message preached by the Late Bishop David L. Ellis and was baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. In that same year, she received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

While in Detroit, Lady Jackson sang in the Radio Choir, served on the Usher Board and was a member of the Scholarship Committee. Upon moving to Maryland, she remained a faithful servant to the people of God. Lady Jackson served as president of the Greater Grace Temple of Capitol Heights Usher Board, secretary for the District of Columbia, Delaware and Maryland District Council Missionaries and the Ministers' Wives Auxiliaries. She  is currently a member of the Trustee Board, and  President of the Women's Ministry. Lady Jackson has  been the coordinator for  two  of our women's retreats where souls have been revived and saved. In 2008, Bishop Jackson elevated her to Co-Pastor of Wod of Grace Worship Center. The Lord has blessed Lady Jackson to be a great seminar teacher. She recently taught a seminar at New Destiny Fellowship International Keepers of the Flame Conference, titled "This House Is Not A Home." Many souls were blessed. Although these activities keep her quite busy, she still finds time to be a blessing to her husband and children.

Proverbs 31:10 - Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
